sun = good (and hot) . . .

Just adding a bunch of pix of shades I recently put up (bought from theshadestore.com) and our re-upholstered 1957 vintage MCM couch and vintage 1970s daybed (I guess the 70's are now vintage???) - btw, all the Upholstery work was done by Ambrose Upholstery - they have no website, but call them at (512) 929-1905 . . .

The Sun is BEAUTIFUL, but does bring some heat . . .

We're fighting back the heat with solar shades on most western windows . . .

design within reach (dwr) . . . only when they're having a really good sale!

Picked up a couple cool new toys (for the house) a George Nelson Saucer Lamp and some "Easy Stacking Chairs" from dwr - as I said only "within reach" when there's a great sale which there is right now at "http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=6950". BTW, if interested in a Nelson lamp, learn from my mistake and order straight from Modernica http://www.modernica.net - DO NOT order through Lumens as it's the same price and takes longer to ship (I received POOR customer service from the folks at Lumens).
