steady progress and some google sketch-up fun . . .

While not at blazing speed, work continues to progress. The kids and I walked the site and enjoyed seeing what's been happening.

Front view - the roof to the carport begins to take shape . . .

I jumped on the Google Sketch-Up band wagon a while ago - and created a very general idea of our house and color scheme . . .

Footer for the retaining wall outside Addison's room was poured . . .

Here's the view from the gameroom - the missing wall will consist of a 6x8 sliding glass door on the left and and floor to ceiling storefront glass on the right with a trex deck on the outside of all the pretty glass.

a little more progress . . .

After a bit of a delay, due to being shorted 1 floor truss, action has picked up again. Some of the door openings have been adjusted and the framers have begun the 3rd story (the master suite). I can't wait to get up there and check out the awesome views.

Also, the plumbers have been out to run and tie in water/sewer lines and the concrete crew has been out setting forms for our South retaining wall.
