nothing signicant going on with the house, so . . .

I'm passing on a link to a locally owned (and internet sales) place that has VERY cool furniture featuring "Blu Dot" items (as well as lots of others) and some very hip, eco-friendly flooring made in Germany. The Owner, Kristen Bolling, is a friend (our kids played together at Shipe Park on 45th St years ago) and she's trying to compete against the likes of DWR around the corner and Nest Modern a few blocks away. So if you're in the market for awesome furniture, knick-knacks, or nice flooring, check out IF+D.

Here the web address to her shop and there a link to the left in the furniture link section :

Here's a sample of their flooring in a local hip redo by Michael Parkes . . .

Here's our front runner for dining and counter stools (from Blue Dot) available at IF+D . . .

  1. Wow, those stools are awesome. The wood reminds me of the finish on a chair I saw here in LA a few years ago. It was like Star Trek captain meets Eames. The finish, though, against the white leather, was stunning in person.

That's a great looking shop. I'll have to show Abby the Dolly Birds Pillow Set...
